Privacy Policy
3D Minesweeper (the "Game") is built and published by Spenser Solys as a solo independent project. I take your privacy seriously and try to collect as little as possible. This page explains exactly what is collected, why, and what your options are.
What is collected
- Anonymous gameplay metrics — board completions, win/loss counts, shape and theme preferences. Used to balance difficulty and improve the game.
- Crash logs — automatically sent if the game crashes. No personal data is included.
- Device info — model, OS version, screen resolution. Used to support new hardware and reproduce bugs.
Game progress and settings are stored locally on your device only. There is no online account, no cloud save, and no cross-device sync.
What is not collected
- No name, email address, phone number, or location.
- No contacts, photos, microphone, or camera access.
- No ads. No ad-tracking SDKs.
- No in-app purchases on mobile.
- Nothing is sold or shared with data brokers.
Third-party services
The Game uses a small number of third-party services, only where strictly needed:
- Sentry — for crash reporting (no personal data attached).
- Firebase Analytics — for anonymous gameplay metrics.
- App store platforms (Apple, Google, Valve, Meta) — receive only what's required to deliver the game and process purchases on the paid platforms.
Each service receives only the minimum data required to function. Data is not joined across services.
Children
The Game is rated 4+. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Anonymous gameplay metrics are not personal data.
Your rights
The Game does not require an account. You can opt out of anonymous analytics from the in-game settings; doing so disables crash and gameplay reporting entirely. Deleting the app removes all locally stored progress. For any other request, email [email protected].
Changes to this policy
If we materially change what we collect, we will update this page and bump the effective date. Continued use of the Game after a change constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
